Big Problem, Simple Solution

The image to the left shows how it should look after you've modelled something.
The importance of this sank in when I realised that when I import the pieces into Unreal nothing will match up properly to the Unreal unit scale and would be time-consuming to adjust later on down the line.
I spent 40 minutes remodelling a few kit pieces but after doing some research I found this (http://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/28558/scaling-in-object-and-edit-mode) it was literally a life saver.
If you scroll just over halfway down the page you will find the answer that made me very happy. I just needed to press ctrl and a then select scale in the popup menu. After selecting all my pieces I followed those instructions and it was all fixed in a second!!
The Bungalow

I spent a few hours today remodelling the bungalow, it was definitely good practise using Blender with something I had already done before.
You'll probably notice that I've added a little roof over the outside porch with a pillar.
One of the main reasons I decided to create it in Blender is so that I have a solid reference for when I have to recreate it in Unreal since I can't use my previous version anymore.
The Gun
After a lot of scrolling through You Tube I made a decision to follow the USP 45 tutorial by Zach Hixson. It was perfect because it is a simple design and the videos are easy to follow for beginners. Here is my progress for today: -
It's definitely getting there but I've still got a lot more to do. I am learning so much whilst modelling this gun and becoming more efficient with Blender.
Thanks for reading, will be a few days until my next post.
